Our Singapore-based company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our QA team in Ukraine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated and manual testing methodologies, ensuring the quality and reliability of our online platform that caters to international corporate clients. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our software products through rigorous testing procedures. At present, we have a QA Manual team in place, and we’re actively seeking a professional who can set up and manage both QA Manual and Automation, especially noting that we currently do not have a dedicated QA Automation team.

This is a full-time and long-term remote position with an excellent opportunity to grow for the right individual. This is a remote job; however, you will have the opportunity to work on-site at our modern office in Kyiv.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze functional requirements, design test cases, and develop automated tests
2. Schedule and conduct manual and automated testing, submit testing errors and issues to development for correction, test corrected code, and track defects.
3. Work with the development, QA and other teams to debug, reproduce and resolve reported issues
4. Design and develop a suite of smoke tests for the software
5. Develop automation strategies that will enhance test execution, manual test coverage, and the consistency of regression testing
6. Stay current with evolving business requirements, proactively engaging with business analysts and domain experts to deeply comprehend new aspects of our platform’s complex business logic

Requirements

1. A minimum of 2+ years of extensive experience with software test automation technologies.
2. Ability to quickly understand and learn essential business concepts like company registration, compliance, and industry-specific processes, to ensure the software’s accuracy and reliability during validation.
3. Proficiency in automating tests of intermediate complexity using industry-standard automation frameworks and tools.
4. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5. Good understanding of cloud-based architecture and databases design.
6. Skilled in analytical thinking, attention to detail, debugging, and problem solving.
7. Good reading, writing, and verbal English skills.
8. Personality that takes the initiative and shows a can-do attitude.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to accommodate Kyiv Time Zone work hours.
11. Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection.
12. A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free.
