Electrical Technician / Automotive Electrician

Our client is a leading European defense company that, in partnership with a Ukrainian organization, develops and manufactures high-tech solutions for the defense, aerospace, and security industries.

The company is looking for a Production Technician — Electrical to work with electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role involves assembly, testing, diagnostics, and maintenance of electrical components and products within a high-tech production setting.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of electrical components and products in accordance with technical instructions and production standards.
• Diagnosis of faults in electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Performing electrical testing, including grounding and resistance checks, using testing equipment.
• Cable assembly work: wire stripping, crimping, soldering, connection, and installation.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives within production processes.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, occupational health requirements, and environmental regulations during all activities.

Requirements

• Experience as an auto electrician, electrical technician, or vehicle service engineer.
• Hands-on experience in installation, diagnostics, and repair of vehicle electrical systems or special-purpose equipment.
• Experience in integrating additional equipment into vehicles is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring harnesses, and principles of vehicle electrical systems.
• Skills in fault diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with power systems, battery systems, lighting, electronic modules, and communication equipment.
• Ability to use diagnostic and measuring equipment.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and service operations.
• Experience working with trucks, special-purpose vehicles, or military platforms is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel on business trips and undergo training abroad.
