Customer: Saxo is Denmark’s largest bookstore, offering millions of book titles via their online e-commerce website. At the same time, Saxo is also offering a modern streaming subscription service, allowing consumers to listen to audiobooks as well as read e-books, in their large content catalog, through their iOS and Android apps.
Project overview:
Saxo’s solution is an in-house platform, built on the Microsoft stack, utilizing a REST based API as the centralized core. The e-commerce platform is served on a .NET based MVC framework and the streaming solution is available via native apps developed on iOS and Android.

Required skills:
Deep understanding of iOS development and experience working with the Swift programming language
Implementing complex user interfaces and navigation flows
Experience with the full app lifecycle development, from initial implementation through to debugging the live apps in the field, ideally several times
Experience working with Swift UI
Good understanding of Core Data
Good understanding of multithreading
Strong understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
Strong understanding of the OOP principles, design patterns
Passion for software engineering, learning and continuous improvement

Tasks and responsibilities:
Supporting application updates and resolving any issues that arise
Assessing and implementing new features and capabilities for our iOS application
Working closely with other developers, designers, and project managers
Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code
Keeping up to date with iOS and technology, and contributing ideas on technologies we should look at and how we can improve our projects
