The position requires candidates to be based in Lviv.

Project overview:

Our customer is a Danish company that develops a price-monitoring SaaS platform, that allows users to view their competitors and resellers’ prices in the market.

The company does this by running a home-made scraper that looks through comparison sites, using a proxy to access and save the shop URL and then updating the prices from there daily.

The platform shows data in a list format for the users to gain insights quickly.

Other features include scheduled reporting, variant handling, and dynamic grouping of products.

Technologies on the project:

TypeScript, React, AWS, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Project Charter

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of web applications, including functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
  • Create, update, and execute test cases based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using a bug-tracking system (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Validate and verify fixes through re-testing and regression testing.
  • Ensure that the product meets business and technical requirements.
  • Provide clear and structured feedback on product quality.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in manual web application testing.
  • Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Ability to write clear test cases and test reports.
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • B2+ English level or higher (for communication with the team).
