Client: GateHouse is independently owned and consists of two subsidiaries — GateHouse SatCom providing satellite communications, consulting and services, and GateHouse Maritime providing Ocean Visibility and real-time tracking solutions for maritime authorities, coastguards, ports and related businesses.

Project overview: Gatehouse Maritime — Providing end to end ocean visibility. GateHouse Maritime helps global service providers, shipping and logistic companies with ocean visibility from transparent and accurate cargo transport status, location data and predictions, sailing schedules and sales leads. Our powerful maritime data foundation consists of 273 billion data points and 30+ analysis and predictive models used for data-driven decisions by maritime operators worldwide.

List of technologies: Cloud, machine learning, AWS, Python (flask), Kubernetes, Kafka, Github, Jira, Confluence, Sentry

Requirements:

• Over 2 years of experience in Python
• Knowledge with Docker, Github and PullRequests, REST/JSON
• Experience with Ubuntu on a user level
• Knowledge of Python frameworks: Flask, Selenium Chromedriver, BeautifullSoup, unittest, pylint, request would be a plus
• Knowledge with AWS, Cloud Native would be a plus
• UML, Jenkins CI/CD, OOP, design patterns, ElasticSearch would be a plus
• Willingness to learn
