We are looking for a Content Writer and here’s what you gotta know about content writing principles at Competera:

News & Trends. Our take on what’s new in the world of retail and important to businesses and executives.
Original Research. We are lucky to have loads of original data that we can and should use in our materials.
Diverse content formats. We want to treat the Competera blog like a community space for retail practitioners, not just a blog. We are testing new content formats to engage with the audience.
Tactical Content. We also work closely with our executives and product team to provide them with high-quality sales and marketing Competera-related content.

What you will do:

— Follow the principles above throughout the process of content production.
— Work closely with product and customer-facing teams to dive deep into studying the product and its impact on retail businesses.
— Contribute to Competera blog and website by writing articles, use-cases, landing pages, case studies, whitepapers, etc.
— Prepare content for own & co-partnered events; create content in cooperation with the company’s partners, advisors, etc.
— Create tactical content, e.g. contributing to sales materials or presentations, writing social media posts and managing SM calendar, creating content for educational courses etc.
— Get proactively involved in content distribution — cross-posts, submissions to relevant websites, blogs, and resources, e.g. statista, quora, etc.

Starter kit:

— 2+ year experience in the role of the writer, followed by advanced English proficiency and true love for storytelling.
— Strong communication and interviewing skills. It should be really easy for you to schedule a call with our product managers or partners, take inputs, and track the process of joint content creation.
— Creativity and out-of-box thinking. You’re going easy on critics and can think different and rewrite the rules for how a B2B company does marketing.
— Time management skills. You’re good at managing performance and keeping your tasks on track.
