Come Back Agency supports US software and technology companies by running their hiring process. We work with delivery and leadership teams to define roles, screen candidates, and manage interviews. Successful candidates are hired directly by the company and become part of its team.

This position is with a US-based software company providing custom development and AI implementation for North American clients. The team builds and maintains production software, including AI-enabled systems, and works in long-term client engagements. Team members operate as part of an internal, distributed team and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.

About the role:

We are looking for a Data Researcher to help us identify and enrich profiles of real people based on limited initial information. In most cases, you will start with only a name and a possible location. This is a highly detail oriented and repetitive role that requires focus, speed, and consistency. Processes may evolve frequently, so adaptability is essential.

What you will do:

• Research individuals using minimal input such as name and approximate location
• Identify and validate correct LinkedIn profiles
• Find professional email addresses using research tools and verification methods
• Cross check data for accuracy and avoid false matches
• Document findings clearly and follow structured workflows
• Adjust quickly to changes in tools, rules, or research logic

What we are looking for:

• Strong online research and investigative skills
• Experience using LinkedIn, Google search operators, and data enrichment tools
• High attention to detail and patience with repetitive tasks
• Ability to stay focused during monotonous work
• Comfortable working with changing instructions and fast iteration
• Logical thinking and strong pattern recognition
• Reliable, disciplined, and deadline oriented

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in lead research, data enrichment, or contact discovery
• Familiarity with email verification tools
• Understanding of B2B data or recruitment research
