THE OPPORTUNITY
Cogniance IT Support Team is looking for a team player who is willing to work, learn and grow his/her career within Cogniance. The position provides the opportunity to gain practical experience in end-user support using customers oriented approaches and at the same time develop system administration skills and grow as an IT professional. We are looking for a highly motivated team member who will demonstrate good users support skills and a great desire and ability to learn fast. On this role your responsibilities will include but to limited to:
— Users support, resolving incoming issues in a friendly and customer oriented way
— Purchasing equipment, updating inventory database
— User management and setting up workstations
— Learn and improve system administration skills (administration of Linux servers, networking equipment, cloud infrastructure and various services used in the company)

THE PERSON
— Good spoken and written English
— Good communication skills
— Solid experience in hardware maintenance and diagnostics
— Windows, Linux, Mac OS system administration
— Basic knowledge of networking
— Positive attitude to teamwork
— Good troubleshooting skills
— Accurate and responsible attitude to work
— Ability to learn fast, self-motivated
— Passionate about described job
