Responsible for building and owning the software stack on the hardware appliance. Your role will be measured by feature velocity of high-quality features (Customer Net Promoter Score measured).
At the moment we are looking for a Senior Linux Video Engineer
Skills

Must-Have
Expert understanding of networking [e.g. NAT hole punching, device discovery / nmap, tunnels, WebSockets, DNS, proxies, etc]
Understand video pipelines, ffmpeg knowledge strongly preferred [with hardware acceleration]
Experience working with Linux
Experience in Python

Nice to have
Experience with C/C++
Experience with container technologies a huge plus [docker, kubernetes]
Hungry to ship fast + iterate
Has shipped critical production code to devices at scale
Higher education in the relevant field

Role
Own the codebase running on our customer-deployed on-premise hardware
Work with new Artificial Intelligence silicon vendors
Work with OEM/ODM ecosystem partners
Work with backend teams for telemetry handoff
Own firmware development end-to-end from EVT through sustaining operations
Work with Customer success / Support to solve key customer pain
Access to the open calendar of customer calls to enable direct customer engagement, including opportunities for on-sites.
