We are inviting a Senior Node.js Software Engineer to join our team.
The team is creating a healthcare solution designed to streamline data entry processes for doctors. Currently, doctors often need to log into up to 30 different systems to verify that treatments are covered by insurance companies, which is time-consuming. The solution automates this process by consolidating patient information and distributing it across all necessary systems.
The team implements this using two methods:
1. API Integration when available.
2. Screen Data Scraping when the API is not available.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Node.js
- Proven ability to work with Express (transitioning to Nest in the future)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Understanding of MVC principles
- Understanding of OOP principles
- Ability to work with technical documentation/specifications for the project
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with Docker
- English — Upper-Intermediate level and higher
Nice to Have
- Healthcare projects and HIPAA compliance experience
- Experience with React
- Experience with web-extension development
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with SQS (AWS)
- Experience with Cypress
Responsibilities
- Developing new features and supporting the current application
- Bug fixing different project modules
- Architecturing new modules, providing system suggestions to a customer
- Communication with a client (meetings and group chat discussions)
- Providing time estimates for tasks
- Creating and supporting technical documentation
