Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python) and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Understanding of the payment processing industry, including transaction flows, fraud detection, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets related to payment transactions, user behavior, and system performance to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide ongoing insights into key performance metrics.
• Work closely with product management, operations, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to develop and maintain data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for improving payment processing efficiency, reducing transaction failures, and optimizing user experience.
• Monitor and analyze the impact of changes to the payment gateway system, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop predictive models to forecast key metrics such as transaction volumes, fraud risks, and customer churn.
• Implement machine learning algorithms where applicable to enhance the accuracy of predictions and insights.
• Act as the main point of contact for business intelligence queries related to the payment gateway product.
• Facilitate data-driven discussions and workshops to help stakeholders understand insights and drive actions based on findings.
• Document analytical methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on how to utilize BI tools and interpret data reports.

Will be a plus

• Experience in A/B testing and performance optimization is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in predictive analytics is an advantage.
