TAP is the abbreviation for Team, Account, and Project. And TAP Manager is a versatile role that combines, in a limited sense, the responsibilities of Team Manager, Account Manager, and Project Manager positions. This role presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career in IT and gain valuable managerial experience.
We are looking for a TAP Manager to join our UI/UX design services division. You will work alongside other TAP Managers, overseeing a subset of over 20 UI/UX designers who are engaged in multiple projects, including those on Upwork. You’ll play a key role in guiding your team of designers and managing client relationships.
Main responsibilities:
Account Management and Client Interaction:
- Confidently conduct client meetings, ask insightful questions, listen attentively, effectively present the company and team, and successfully close deals
- Investigate project scope, requirements, deadlines, and budgets thoroughly
- Prioritize customer satisfaction: gather regular feedback, enhance quality, and improve client retention
- Handle negative feedback or potential conflict situations in a professional manner
- Understand client business objectives, maintaining a big-picture view and identifying opportunities for upselling
Team Interaction:
- Manage and assign tasks to a group of UI/UX designers within your team.
- Review, structure, and finalize project requirements, estimates, and proposals with your design team.
- Oversee team performance: ensure the quality of deliverables, adherence to deadlines, and efficient use of the budget.
- Monitor and maintain team spirit, work on keeping the team together, foster a positive team environment
Project Management:
- Initiate and lead projects, assuming account or project manager responsibilities depending on the size and specifics of the project
- Continuously monitor project status and overall health
- Plan team workload with a broad perspective, ensuring fair distribution and a balanced workload
- Upon project completion, oversee the creation of credentials and case studies. Ensure the company’s profiles on Upwork, Behance, and Dribbble are updated accordingly
Requirements:
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or beginner in project management with a strong motivation to pursue a career in project and people management within the UI/UX design field in IT
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, ideally with minimal accent
- Strong presentation abilities and high written and verbal communication skills
