• Drive the IT security strategy and implementation forward whilst protecting company, customer and third-party data from security threats
• Ensure the company’s compliance with national and international regulatory environments where applicable, particularly in the area of personal data protection
• Direct staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining information security processes, practices, and policies throughout the company to reduce risks and limit exposure and liability in all areas while supporting business goals
• Respond to IT security incidents and provide effective solutions
• Participate in the development, implementation, testing and updating of the company’s Business Continuity and Recovery Plan
• Verify the security of existing IT systems and conduct analysis of new systems prior to their implementation
• Develop and implement an Information Security Awareness Program for employees
