We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our developed software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated UI tests.
On behalf of our client Software MacKiev develops assistive technology software (Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) applications) for iOS and macOS for people with physical, vision, communication and reading impairments.

— Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field
— Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer on software development projects for iOS and Web
— Experience using any of — XCTest, XCUITest or Apium
— Experience in writing and managing tests to validate web applications in a browser
— Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English
— Meeting with the software development teams to discuss verification protocols
— Discussing and coordinating testing strategy and automation coverage with development and qa leads
— Participating in Automation meetings with English-speaking client to collect requirements and report the progress
— Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas
— Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
— Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
— Development of the new UI automated test scripts and maintenance of the existing ones
— Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
— Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
— Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults
