We’re seeking for an experienced Legal Counsel for our partner company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contractual Support with Suppliers and Partners: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, logistics providers, and service partners to protect the company’s interests.
• Regulatory Compliance in Health and Dietary Supplements: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to the production and distribution of dietary supplements, managing certifications as needed.
• Intellectual Property Management: Oversee the protection of the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks and patents, and manage legal support for brand registrations and product development.
• International Contracts and Export Operations: Provide legal oversight for international agreements, ensuring compliance with export/import regulations and advising on risks in global transactions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, supply chain, marketing) to align legal matters with business objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and create strategies to mitigate them in areas such as contract negotiations, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal counsel roles, preferably within the wellness, health, or dietary supplement sectors.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to dietary supplements and health products.
• Expertise in intellectual property management, including trademarks and patents.
• Experience with international contracts and knowledge of export/import legalities.
• Experience and track record with different certifications. Experience in dietary supplements certifications would be a plus
• Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills in a corporate setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to systematize and organize legal documentation, ensuring clear and accessible records.
• Experience in VAT classification and navigating tax regulations is a plus.
