Manual QA engineer with automation experience for EFG International (Kyiv) (вакансія неактивна)

On behalf of EFG International, Ciklum is looking for a Manual QA engineer with automation experience to join Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

Client details:
EFG is a worldwide private banking group. The e-business division, located in Geneva, is in charge of a portal hosting all the public web sites of the group, as well as the intranet, extranets and ebanking services. EFG is building a new platform for all the e-business solutions and partnered with blue infinity to deliver a state of the art platform based on Java technologies.

Responsibilities
● Ensuring the quality of all products releases is up to a standard agreed and accepted by key stakehold-er;
● Design testing documentation, high quality test scenarios for the future and existing functionality;
● Participate in automation using Java (API Testing) frameworks (also possible to work on JavaScript (Protractor) test automation);
● Actively learn from your colleagues and share your own knowledge and experience with others;
● Maintain good visibility and communication of all testing activities with the team and key stakehold-ers;
● Work in human size intercultural project with opportunities for everyone to work on various technol-ogies and be part of the decisions.

Requirements
● Understanding of QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies and software development lifecycle, and ability to apply the knowledge into daily operation;
● Experience producing key test assets (requirements gathering, test plans, test reports, checklists, test scenarios, etc.);
● Experience with testing APIs and Backend Services (REST, SOAP);
● 3+ years of manual testing of web applications experience;
● Knowledge of Java (at least theoretical) and desire to write integration automated tests on java (JUn-it, Cucumber);
● Knowledge of Linux is plus;
● Knowledge of SQL (CRUD operations) is plus;
● Higher education (preferable in IT);

● English spoken and written on the intermediate level or higher;
● Good verbal and written communication skills;
● High level of attention to details;
● Ability to keep a high level overview of the complete solution and understand the business value;
● Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive independently or collaboratively with team on solutions, positive approach to difficulties and imaginative problem solver.
