• Agile experience, preferably Scrum
• Strong software testing experience and good awareness of concepts (e.g. risk based testing)
● Functional and non-functional testing experience (e.g. regression, integration, security, performance, UAT, smoke etc.)
● Experience producing key test assets (requirements gathering, test plans, test reports)
● Experience of Jira (defect reporting and Agile management)
● Understanding of client-server architecture and communication principles
● Fluent spoken and written English

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior business, developers and IT executives on agile quality culture and best practices

● Experience working in a multi project e-commerce environment
● Experience with cross-browser testing, cross-mobile platform testing
● Experience with Rich Web UI projects

● Work as a valued member of the team with a personal responsibility, adding value to all test activities as well as other joint activities in the team in order to deliver qualitative software as efficiently as possible
● Produce high quality test assets as part of sprint testing
● Support releases into all environments including production
● Ensure the quality of all product releases are to a standard agreed and accepted by key stakeholder
● Actively contribute and drive the on-going improvement of the testing process, knowledge, quality and best practices
● Maintain good visibility and communication of all testing activities with the team and key stakeholders
● Ensure key issues detected are appropriately documented, flagged, communicated and handed over to the appropriate function to resolve in a timely manner

On behalf of Thomas Cook, Ciklum is looking for Test Engineer for our team in Kyiv on full-time basis.

As part of an agile Scrum team, the technical tester will be integral to delivering high quality software as part of the Thomas Cook Retail Engineering teams. The Test Engineer will own, drive and execute all testing tasks within the SDLC. You will be a part of team involved in development and maintenance of large scale Java and Javascript applications that scale to millions of customers, billions of pounds in revenue and thousands of requests per second.
