Ciklum Support Center is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our Dnipro team on a full-time basis.
Our client is a Belgian service provider of transport, warehouse, forwarding and specialized services with subsidiaries in Romania. With a turnover growth of more than 20% per year, this company is a fast grower and mover in the logistics business. In total 750 employees are part of the organization of which 200 are office users. The IT team exists of 6 persons (3 functional, 3 technical) and to face the growth our client wants to source out the first line support to a specialized company to concentrate on structural issues blocking future expansions. As such, we’re searching for an IT support engineer to join the team.
Responsibilities:
• Be the first responsive to user issues and provide lead times to internal customers
• Categorize helpdesk tickets to ease up reporting for IT management
• Help the user to describe his issue complete and ask some standard questions to solve issues immediately
• Make a first estimate on the sense of urgency for each ticket based on information provided by the team, based on this estimate take first steps into the most feasible solution matrix
• Document solved issues in templates on the helpdesk module
• Provide update information to users for longstanding helpdesk tickets (> 1 month)
• Communicate on ticket statuses and user behavior to IT engineers
Requirements:
• Fluent English writing/reading/speaking skills
• Be a detailed and self-organized person eager to share knowledge with IT team
• IT support engineer with university/higher college degree
• Patience is crucial as our users have low IT knowledge, we are searching an engineer who eases users calling with emergency issues
• Proven experience in Microsoft technology (office 365, CRM online, windows server 2012/2016, terminal services)
• Interest in cloud based applications is a plus
• Additional maintenance windows (night shifts) will asked twice a month in mutual agreement
• The engineer will be asked to work in the our Helpdesk module including to make use of solution matrices — training will be scheduled
