Ciklum is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project and contribute to quality-driven delivery by applying best practices, taking ownership, and supporting new business initiatives.

You will be working on a modern solution for an existing client within a highly motivated team, focusing on stability, scalability, and continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

Automation of regression and other functional testing on UI and backend
Building and maintaining automated testing frameworks
Integrating automated testing into CI processes
Adjusting test cases to support automated testing needs
Preparing test data and test environments
Performing manual testing activities within a Scrum team, including test case creation using different test design techniques, execution, and defect reporting
Preparing test reports and clearly communicating results to stakeholders
Analyzing product stability and reporting conclusions on the quality status
Performing testing activities on multiple projects when required and communicating with developers and project managers

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in API automation using REST Assured or similar tools
Experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch
4+ years of professional experience in QA automation of web products using Selenium WebDriver and supporting frameworks
Strong skills in Java and object-oriented programming
Experience with TypeScript and Playwright
Experience implementing automated testing at project and system levels
Experience with continuous integration processes and tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar
Experience working with version control systems such as Git
In-depth knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures
Strong knowledge of testing methods, techniques, and types
Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
