Expert .NET Engineer (1196)

Ciklum is looking for a Expert .NET Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As an Expert .NET Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for one of the Ciklum’s client who develops a system designed to enhance learning, streamline school operations, and connect students, teachers, and parents in a unified digital environment. It provides real-time academic insights, and seamless integration with key educational tools.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and develop technical solutions using a variety of approaches to deliver meaningful business value
• Design, implement, and review code while upholding high-quality engineering standards
• Ensure process maturity by strictly following and promoting established controls and best practices
• Analyze business requirements and architect scalable, high-performance, and testable backend solutions
• Drive and own technical decision-making across the team and project
• Communicate directly with the UK-based client to clarify requirements, share progress, and present results

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Technical Lead or Senior Technical Expert
• Strong proficiency in C#, capable of producing secure, efficient, and maintainable software
• Excellent system design and software architecture skills, particularly for web applications and microservices
• Comfortable in customer-facing roles with a business-oriented mindset
• Deep experience with C# / .NET (6, 8, 10) and related ecosystems
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
• Familiarity with industry-standard communication mechanisms (message brokers, HTTP, WebSockets) and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and modern testing practices

Desirable:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Practical experience with advanced concepts in ReactJS
