Ciklum is looking for a Middle .NET Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Middle .NET Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

The Client is a fast-growing, profitable, well-funded and dynamic global payments company. Their offices are located in Israel, New York and more. It is serving thousands of corporates and millions of end-users (payment receivers), in over 200 countries. The Client`s R&D organization holds over 500 workers (Developers, Manual QA, Automation QA, DBA, IT, Professional services / production support). R&D teams are operating in SCRUM methodology, with product-manager involved in each team. Their systems are based on Microsoft and open-source technology (.NET, React, Angular, ASP.NET & MVC, APS.NET Core, CSS/JavaScript and AJAX, SQL server 2012/2014, Windows server, IIS) — serving both international WEB users and the Company internal users. R&D is looking for extending its capacity for new-developments and existing product enhancements, in high quality and fast pace of delivery. With our fast, flexible, secure and low-cost solutions, businesses and professionals in both developed and emerging markets can now pay and get paid globally as easily as they do locally.

Responsibilities:

Back-end development. Implement components/parts of features or modules according to modern software development environment (microservice architecture) with acceptable quality with moderate supervision

• Describing own code within technical documents and simple diagrams and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solution
• Writing various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, etc)
• Proactive position in solution development, processes improvements
• Working in an international distributed team in an Agile environment
• Efficiently use development toolset, follow code standards and team agreed rules
• Use of the best practices and patterns when designing and implementing application components
• Investigate and fix application bugs

Requirements:

Knowledge in: Clean code practices, OOP and OOD

Knowledge in Programming:

• Paradigm & Principles (OOP, SOLID, DDD, TDD, BDD)
• Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL)
• Code testing practices
• Algorithms
• Data structures

Knowledge and experience in C# and .NET (more than 3 years)

Practical experience with:

• REST API development
• .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET (Core, MVC, WebAPI) (more than 3 years)
• Testing frameworks (e.g. e.g. NUnit, XUnit, MSTest)
• ORM (e.g. Entity Framework, Dapper)
• RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Key-value storages — strong experience with Redis
• Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Azure ServiceBus, Apache Kafka, Active MQ, AWS SQS, Google Pub/Sub)
• Web Servers
• Version control systems (GIT)
• Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Builders
• NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, ElasticSearch, CouchDB)

Desirable:

• Understanding of network interactions (protocols, conventions (e.g. REST), authentication and authorization flows)
  
• Knowledge of Deployment patterns
• Team player attitude and mentality
• Ambitious and eager to learn new things
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum/SAFE
• B.Sc in computer science or equivalent
