Ciklum is looking for a Middle JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Middle JavaScript Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for the our client. Client, through its main product the IT Resilience Platform, provides disaster recovery, backup and workload mobility software for virtualized infrastructures and cloud environments. The Client is co- headquartered in Boston and Israel and is a subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. The industry-changing IT Resilience Platform allows companies to eliminate the risk and complexity of modernization and cloud adoption. The Platform sets the standard of how companies achieve continuous availability, how they protect, mobilise and back-up their data and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and suggest possible solutions to resolve different types of issues (performance, CI/CD, etc.)
• Handle infrastructure tasks like rotating secrets, upgrading Node.js versions and improve the overall codebase hygiene and security
• Be proactive, take ownership, and don’t be afraid to dive deep

Requirements:

• Software development:
• Knowledge and experience in implementing NodeJS services by using JavaScript and TypeScript
• .NET is desirable
• Basic knowledge in K8S, Jenkins, CI pipelines
• Prior record of use NodeJS features and 3rd party tools
• Hands-on experience in writing queries to SQL and noSQL databases
• Software Deployment:
• Clouds AWS, Docker Experience of using cloud platforms (AWS). Understanding Docker configuration. Follows the established containerization process
