Ciklum is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior Java Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project focused on building and maintaining systems for a leading food delivery service operating in over 23 countries. The Marketplace Courier App (Curiosity) team is distributed across two hubs and develops services that streamline food delivery for restaurants and couriers. This role involves building new services, improving existing ones, and implementing code following Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, with experience in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new services and improve existing ones for the Marketplace Courier App
• Implement code following Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles
• Work with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Microservices
• Collaborate in a cross-functional, distributed team
• Maintain logging and monitoring for production services
• Work with CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize Git for version control

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Java developer
• Proficient in Java technologies and frameworks
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with messaging/streaming brokers
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Good knowledge of Git

Desirable:

• Experience with Quarkus or MicroProfile
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with CQRS and 12-factor app principles
• Cloud-native technologies (AWS or other cloud providers)
• Kubernetes experience (as developer)
• Kafka platform experience
