Senior (Lead) QA Engineer for Testing Center of Excellence (вакансія неактивна)

On behalf of Testing Center of Excellence, Ciklum is looking for Senior QA Engineer/Lead to join Kiev team on a full-time basis.

We are a growing business unit of Ciklum with currently 51 employees, specializing in Software quality assurance. Currently we are dealing with approximately 30 projects simultaneously. Our projects usually last for 6-12 months and our technological focus is mainly on web and mobile technologies. So, you’ll have the opportunity to get frequently in touch with new projects, processes, approaches, technologies, and tools. Through direct knowledge exchange with international clients you are an important contributor in making them successful. Responsibilities:
• Become part of the Scrum team and work closely with BA, Dev, Scrum Master and PO resources to own all of the testing activities
• Lead and oversee assigned project’s QA efforts for functional QA
• Devote at least 50% to 70% of the time on testing the application (writing test cases, test execution, etc.)
• Analyze project requirements/PBIs and identify gaps of those items
• Create and / or review the test strategy, test plans, test cases and management defects for all of the functional testing required for each project
• Write detailed test documentation to a level of detail where another QA analyst can easily follow
• Create / manage test data as needed
• Write SQL queries to perform backend DB verification
• Work with BA and Dev to ensure proper test coverage
• Work with BA and end users to assist UAT and deployment smoke tests for various environments
• Execute test plans and generate test results status reports as needed
• Perform process reviews to verify proper adoption of test strategies, processes and standards
• Coach project team members in implementation of STAC QA’s test strategies, processes and standards
• Identify improvement opportunities and work with the QA Leadership team to continuously improve process and standards
• Manage all of the test activities in MTM/TFS
• Participate in scrum meetings to add value from quality perspective
• Identify and remove any blockers for the project QA teams
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on product functionality
• Collaborate with peers from other product teams to identify cross-product dependencies and in defining the test approach
• Identify project risks and create a risk mitigation plan

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (4 years’ degree) in computer science, computer engineering or related IT field
• Minimum 6 years of QA experience in addition to the degree
• Minimum 2 years of QA Lead experience
• 3 years of experience in Agile Software Development
• 4 years of experience using test management tools such as MS TFS (Team Foundation Server)/MTM (Microsoft Test Manager), HP ALM/QC, IBM Rational Quality Manager or Silk Test Manager.
• 4 years of experience in SQL
• Experience with the creation of test strategy, test plans, test cases, defect management, reporting status reports
• Experience in leading QA in multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage work under tight deadlines

Desirable:
• Preferred ISTQB or CSTE Certification
