Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will become a part of a positive, engaged, and motivated team of strong professionals based in Ukraine, England and Europe centers. We offer a unique, very friendly, and supportive working environment where you communicate and work directly with the UK and European stakeholders. Sub team is working on Maintenance and documentation of existing solutions. Marketing/SEO landing pages and minisites.

Responsibilities:

• Full-stack development to meet customer’s business needs and implement components according to modern software development environment
• Taking part in design application architecture, solution development, architecture and code review
• Write and review documentation and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solution
• Working in an international distributed team in an Agile environment
• Communicate with PMs, engineers, Architects, QA and other colleagues and stakeholders
• To use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole software development lifecycle

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Full stack with plenty of front-end experience
• Extensive experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory:
  
  • Paradigm & Principles
  • Database theory
  • Code testing practices
  • Algorithms & data structures
  • Enterprise and Application Design Patterns
  • Security
• Understanding of network interactions:
  
  • Protocols (DNS / HTTP)
  • Conventions (REST, GraphQL)
• Excellent knowledge and experience in PHP and JavaScript
• Practical commercial experience with:
  
  • REST
  • Testing frameworks (e.g. PHPUnit)
  • RDBMS (e.g MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
  • AWS
  • Docker
  • Git
  • Bash / PowerShell
  • CI/CD tools

• Next.js
