Ciklum is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Technical Writer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Our Client.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing documentation, and identify gaps
• Propose a unified target structure of documentation
• Write new technical documentation, including technical guidelines for the development teams
• Update existing procedures\policies\manuals
• In close collaboration with development teams, owning different platforms, plan creation and update of documentation
• Track, report, and visualize progress

Requirements:

• Advanced/Proficient English
• Ability to convey technical material in a concise, effective manner that is appropriate for its intended audience
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures, paying attention to detail
• Strong system thinking, planning, communication, and cross-group collaboration capabilities
• Ability to structure large amounts of information and anticipate the reader’s knowledge gaps
• Experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
• Ability to produce visually attractive materials
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Experience with API documentation
• Some engineering experience in the past

Desirable:

• Java development experience
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Awareness of AWS, and cloud concepts
