Development Center Manager for Betsson Group (2100028A) (вакансія неактивна)

On behalf of Betsson Group, Ciklum is looking for a Development Center Manager to the team in Kyiv on a full-time basis.

DCM are the leader of Betsson Development Center in Kyiv, responsible for the delivery of the development center, representing the company, making sure the Kyiv office is aligned to Betsson culture, spirit and professional standards and acts as a leader.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsibility of Kyiv office delivery
• Ensure that the teams are properly structured and staffed with capable resources to meet the requirements to deliver against the Development Roadmap
• Ensure adequate on call support and that teams are tightly coordinated with Service Availability Team (SAT), and are performing Root Cause Analysis for production incidents, properly driving corrective and preventive actions
• Act as an escalation point for on call production incidents
• Managing culture and engagement events and activities
• Facilities management; organizing and managing office space and logistics
• Travel management for Kyiv employees and managing visitors
• Facilitate and maintain excellent communication between different Betsson offices (Malta, Stockholm, Tallin, Budepest)
• Represent Kyiv office on various management meetings. Take active part in Betsson cross office initiatives
• Build strong leadership team in Kyiv site, mentor Team Leads on personal and business matters
• Hold team gatherings for the site-related activities/issues/requirements or any other cross company topics that needs to be communicated
• Communicate Betsson policies, values, strategies, and objectives to Kyiv office
• Be a driver for internal promotions and changes in Kyiv office processes
• Be involved in final interviews for every position in Kyiv office
• Be involved in the planning and execution of all employee related activities (hackathons, learn and develop events, Winter and Summer parties etc.)
• Coordinate with DCM’s from offices to assist overall delivery success, manage risks, and drive processes improvements

Requirements:

• Leadership and management experience, understanding on how R&D operates in an agile environment
• Proven project management and planning skills, history of delivering projects on time with groups of more than 20 developers and QA engineers
• Technical project management background & good understanding of full range of SDLC
• Strong people management & leadership skills
• Proven experience of risk management & mitigation
• Strong communication & negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior business executives on agile culture and best practices
• Ability to balance stakeholders, build trustful relationship
• Experience of working in a multicultural environment
• Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct and coach staff
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a high pace and a high velocity environment
• Ability to manage organizational changes and transformations
