On behalf of Ciklum Digital, Ciklum is looking for an Expert Manual QA Engineer to join our Kyiv team on a full-time basis.

Project description:
Ciklum will build the collaborative sportswear design platform for TOP-5 company of the sportswear market. Scalable solution that will be used by famous worldwide sportswear designers to create and bring to market new sports fashion collections. Part of the larger Product Lifecycle Management ecosystem the platform delivered within the current project will become a market differentiator and key comparative advantage for multi-billion business. The project will use proven and edge technologies and concepts, such as SAFe, Behaviour-Driven Development, DevOps, Event-Driven architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements analysis and processing
• Estimation of the testing activities
• Test Plan, Test Strategy creation
• Test cases/checklists/e2e scenarios and other types of test documentation creation
• Perform testing activities on one big or several small projects
• Communicate with developers, project managers, BA, UI/UX designers, Customer
• Test Summary reports preparation
• Metric/KPIs gathering
• Management of QA Team
• Monitoring of QA Team performance
• Onboarding and training on newcomers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in the QA area
• At least 4 years of real working experience with Web-based projects
• Good knowledge of complex SQL queries
• Working experience with NoSQL Database (MongoDB)
• Good experience in working with REST APIs, understanding of Soap APIs
• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS or jQuery
• Excellent knowledge of bug life cycle
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC
• Excellent Jira skills
• Working experience with at least one Test Management tool (Test Rail, xRay)
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• At least theoretical knowledge in BDD/TDD
• Upper-intermediate English communication skills
• Excellent understanding of test design techniques
• Excellent understanding of Testing types
• Service and teamwork orientation
• Time management skills

Desirable:

• Understanding of programming languages (Python, Java, JS)
• Experience of using version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN)
• Experience with CI tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with web automation tools (e.g. Selenium Webdriver)
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. jMeter)
• BS + in Computer science or relevant
