On behalf of Daimler Mobility Services GmbH, Ciklum is looking for a Java Technical Lead to join Kyiv team on full-time basis.

OUR TECH SETUP:

• Our microservices are written in Java and Kotlin
• We operate our platform on Kubernetes in AWS
• We leverage event-sourcing in our architecture
• Our code is on GitHub and we love code reviews
• The team encourages whiteboard discussions and collaboration around technical decisions

Responsibilities:

• Lead design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support the parts of the digital payment platform end-to-end
• Set high and maintain standards of code quality and development practices for yourself and team members
• Leverage the best offerings of modern standards and trends in software design and architecture
• Lead technical interviewing and engineers grading
• Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders and engineers

Requirements:

• Solid real-world experience in Back End development of highly loaded and highly available platforms
• Good understanding of modern distributed event-driven systems challenges
• Solid experience in building microservices on JVM using Java or Kotlin
• Solid skills of writing clean, modular, well-annotated code that it is easy to maintain and scale
• Experience with building, configuring and deploying services, microservices and applications
• Hands on experience with building CI/CD
• Experience with unit testing and modern development processes
• Working experience with Git and/or others version/source control systems, good command in branching strategies;
• Solid computer science fundamentals
• Sense of pragmatism, urgency, and good technical judgement
• Upper intermediate spoken and written English
