About the project:
Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. is one of the leading carriers in the global container shipping industry. Operates a modern fleet and a network of shipping lines offering cargo transportation services on all major global trade routes, supported by the company’s local offices and representatives around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
• Lead development team technically and organizationally.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Development Cycle:
• Actively contribute as a full-stack developer (70% of the time).
• Own the complete development cycle, including design, architecture, and DevOps.
• Task Management:
• Assign pairs and stories daily.
• Conduct standups and lead the IPM ceremony.
• Ensure a continuous flow of stories for developers.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide architecture guidance and enforce coding standards.
• Mitigate pull request failures due to WhiteSource verifications.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Act as a focal point in communication with the business and management.
• Negotiate voting in the IPM ceremony if needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Java and Spring experience.
• Strong experience in front-end (FE) development with modern JavaScript frameworks, including React.
• Experience with reactive UI development (Reactive JS).
• 2+ years of TDD/BDD development with frameworks such as Junit, Jasmin, Mockito, Protractor/Selenium.
• 2+ years of micro-services-based architecture and tools (Spring Boot/Cloud).
• Experience in DevOps development and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Kotlin development is a plus.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud/hybrid-based solutions.
• Familiarity with design concepts such as microservices, service discovery, and circuit breaker.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
