Project Overview

A new suite of Plotly dashboards for an ongoing project

• Extracting and manipulating data to desired visualization output, with guidance from our in-house quant analysts
• Design the data pipeline in a way that allows easy injection of new data points and modification of existing ones

PowerBI

• Tidy up PowerBI datasets used for existing PowerBI reports to improve speed and maintenance.
• Enhance existing PowerBI reports to bring in new data and/or implement new ways of presenting data

Data ingestion — AWS to Snowflake

• Create schema for ingestion
• Build data pipeline
• Create potentially store procedures to pull data simply by providing an identifier (TICKER)
• Failure notification

Skills: (Must have)

• Python
• PowerBI experience
• Strong SQL / working with data
• Track record of creating dashboards (extracting data, transforming, and presenting)(Good to have)
• Quant experience/maths background
• Financial services experience, ideally in Equities

Ideally, we would get someone with PowerBI and Python dashboard experience who can work on both projects but if not the Plotly Dash project is the priority. The projects are looking at equity and financial data so someone with a mathematical and/or equities background is probably also key as otherwise it will be difficult to validate the dashboards they produce.
