The Job:

• As a DevOps Engineer at the company, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our software platform. Your responsibilities will include:
  
  • Environment Setup: Establish development, staging, and production environments for our company software platform, ensuring each is optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Automation: Install, configure, and automate both system and application software to streamline operations and increase reliability.
  • Requirement Comprehension: Deeply understand software requirements and the intricacies of our company-developed products to align operational tasks with business goals.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between developers and other stakeholders, effectively communicating issues and contributing to the resolution process.

Required skills:

• Experience with administration of Linux operating systems and good understanding of networking concepts
• Ansible — since we use it all over
• Monitoring and Logging tools knowledge (Zabbix, GL, ELK)
• Experience with CI/CD Tools (GitLab/Jenkins)
• Scripting experience — Bash
• Understanding of source control and build system tools (git, maven,...)

Advantage:

• Experience working with various cloud service providers (GCP, AWS etc)
• Experience with application messaging services (Kafka, SQS)
• Experience with administration of HA system software: Application servers, Database servers, Web Servers etc.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Docker-Compose)
• IT system security, reliability, performance, scalability
• Experience with Python
• Experience Terraform
