Senior Manual QA Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for more than just a tester who follows a script. We are seeking a critical thinker and a strategic partner for our engineering team.

If you are a QA Engineer who prefers finding one critical logic flaw over reporting ten minor UI inconsistencies, and if you leverage modern AI tools to speed up routine tasks so you can focus on complex challenges, we want to meet you.

The Mindset We Are Looking For

• System Thinking (High IQ): You don’t just test the “happy path.” You understand the high-level solution, foresee architectural risks, and can discuss technical bottlenecks with developers on equal footing. You anticipate problems before code is even written.
• Business-First Prioritization: You understand that a broken checkout flow is a disaster, while a wrong button color is just a task. You know how to prioritize testing to cover critical business value first.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Test Planning: Design comprehensive test strategies that focus on logic, data integrity, and complex user flows.
• Smart Execution: Perform end-to-end functional and exploratory testing. You will dig deep into the system to find non-obvious issues.
• Defect Analysis: Log defects with high precision. You don’t just say “it doesn’t work” — you help narrow down the root cause (checking logs, database states, API responses).
• Collaboration: Actively participate in architectural discussions and refinement sessions. Challenge requirements if they seem illogical or incomplete.
• AI Integration: Actively use AI tools to generate checklists, summarize release notes, or create test data, freeing up your time for high-value intellectual work.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in our QA process and propose improvements to make us ship faster with better quality.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA (Web & Mobile).
• Technical Depth:
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs (Postman/Insomnia) — understanding the payload, not just the UI.
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of SQL (verifying data integrity).
• AI Literacy: Familiarity with LLMs (ChatGPT, etc.) and a willingness to integrate them into your daily workflow.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to deconstruct complex features into testable components quickly.
• English: Intermediate or higher.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Experience setting up or maintaining test documentation in modern tools (Notion, Jira, TestRail).
• Test Automation skills
