PROJECT DETAILS:

To tackle these problems you will work in one of our international scrum teams, which consist of topnotch Front- and Back End Developers, designers, and DevOps engineers. Each team owns a part of our product from front to back. Being responsible for the quality, scalability & design of their feature.

Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is aimed to promote and ensure the software quality of our product as well as help other teammates to do so. QA Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the general application architecture and managing QA Strategy along with QA Lead by communicating interdependencies between different Scrum Teams considering common work in the same application area.

YOUR TEAM:

The QA team consists of QA Lead, Automation QA, and two manual QA Engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the general picture of the whole application
• Propose Testing Strategy to improve and maintain product quality
• Implement testing procedures and oversee the QA process
• Perform Exploratory and Ad-Hoc testing with the purpose of detecting system’s weak places
• Write comprehensive Test Cases and organize them into appropriate Test Suites
• Help teammates follow project quality practices
• Mentor other QAs

SKILLS:

• 5+ years in software quality assurance
• Understanding of main testing types and ability to implement them in practice
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to assess the complexity of the platform and use corresponding testing techniques
• Ability to propose a Testing Strategy to better meet customers’ expectations of the quality
• Ability to manage communication in terms of teams’ interdependencies
• Working closely with the Devs and QAs to perform testing activities
• Designing and organizing Test Cases
• Experience in mentoring people
• At least an intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with API and automation test tools and assuring best practices
• Experience in complex systems testing
