Our Client needs to grow its mobile application team to accelerate progress on its product roadmap. Programming in React Native and in some cases native code for iOS and Android, the developer will work with designers, product management, back-end developers, and QA to deliver a wide variety of features from the roadmap. Based on skill level and interest, the developer will also have a chance to contribute to the back-end systems and overall product. Such a system adapts commercial-grade hydroponic technology for consumer use, making professional hydroponics shrunk to fit in any home. Gardening techniques have never been that easy for everyone! Also, caring about our planet, the customer provides 100% recyclable packaging for each of their products. Currently, these particular gardening systems are considered the most advanced consumer products in the modern market.

About the Project:
Want to work on a small and agile team that is moving quickly to develop a modern platform that touches a wide variety of technologies and capabilities? This is not really a project, but instead an ongoing endeavor to keep advancing a smart hydroponic platform that allows users to manage commercial grade growing equipment in their home as though it is a simple appliance. Rise Gardens is a startup, but currently live with their gardens and application (launched in September 2019). So they are still in the early days of building out a mobile application that integrates with an AWS serverless backend and IoT infrastructure. They have, and will continue to develop a relatively sophisticated DevOps foundation as well. The Rise Gardens technology roadmap is deep and includes building out a proprietary community platform for social engagement; processing and handling media such as photos and video; in-application predictive analytics to provide an enhanced user experience; and lots more.
