Qualifications

— Strong technical background with a primary focus on the back-end, data modeling and data structures
— Experience with distributed, event driven systems and business process automation
— Ability to work independently and drive topics end to end concept, design, build, ship and run
— Ability to make the right trade-offs between solution perfection and time to market — get 80% of the outcome
with 20% of the effort
— Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies, tools and frameworks fast
— Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and drive outcomes to the finish line
— Strong communication skills — you are able to explain complex concepts in simple terms and to summarize
ideas with a good balance between not enough information and too much context

Responsibilities

— Executing full lifecycle software development
— Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
— Working together with your colleagues to identify and implement technical designs
— Developing the backbone of our system according to the agreed specifications
— Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
— Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing
and implementing systems
— Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating
procedures
— Provide written knowledge transfer material
