— At least 1 year of experience working in L2/L3 support;
— Upper-intermediate English is a must, Advanced is considered a huge advantage;
— Experience working with *nix-based systems;
— Basic understanding of DBs;
— Basic understanding of client-server architecture and web services;
— Knowledge of data format types like JSON, XML, CSV;
— Basic understanding of a software development cycle;
— Multi-tasking and time management skills;
— Being able to take responsibility for your part of the job;
— Being attentive to details (this is really required);
— Analytical skills and the ability to determine the complex nature of the problem;
— Being a fast-learner. Really. You’ll be facing a lot of new and unusual stuff you had previously no experience with.
Will be a plus:
— System administration of *nix-based systems experience is considered an advantage;
— Hand on experience with administration of DBs;
— Any experience with programming and scripting languages (C++/PHP/Python) is a plus;
— Hand on experience with QA or at least understanding of it;
— Engineering or IT education is a plus;
— Technical support experience as L2/L3/L4;
— Any experience with maintaining technical documentation;
— Experience with maintaining relationships with EU customers;
— Experience in gambling.
— Imagine yourself being a man-in-the-middle between your company’s internal departments (mainly, technical ones), a mediator who delivers a product to the external parties and continuously supports it after the delivery. You are going to collect, process and have your own user/business stories with our product and suggest your enhancements to it. Of course, you will have to formalize those stories so your teammates and colleagues from different departments could understand them and put them into their pipeline.
— The position itself implies, that 95% of your time you will be in tight contact with external developers who are integrating our product at the moment. You will have to support them with your excellent knowledge of our continuously advancing product and your level of attentiveness to details which those developers lack. You will surprise our customers with your ability to find an error in the logs which they missed during their work. However, finding an error in the logs not really what this position is about. This position is about being a party saver who can drive everyone to resolve the existing problem.
— Once the integration is close to production you will be performing its QA on front-end and back-end levels. Quality assurance is not just a step of the whole process, it directly affects user experience with our product for end-users. It impacts the company’s reputation on the market and all benefits it can provide to you in particular.
— After finishing your probation, you will be given full responsibility for a list of customers. The level of freedom you will be given in your work directly depends on your attitude.
