Our client is a well-known loyalty program in Canada and has been around for more than 30 years. It’s a big corporation with many mature established processes.

Now we are looking for 2 Senior Automation QA Engineers for two teams:

Snap. Since Spring 2022 our Blackbird Lab team has been building a product where end users of our customer can upload receipts of their grocery purchases and get rewards for it. We built a user-friendly CRM for our colleagues to manage offers, retailers, receipts OCR, and many other functionalities. We are responsible for the end-to-end implementation, from mobile to back office processing and management tools, which include OCR, operations process, reporting, auditing, etc.

It’s a big backend feature with a mobile application that our team is migrating to Flutter and the admin part now. You’ll be the only AQA in the team and will be responsible for quality assurance of the whole Snap.

Care. In 2023 Blackbird Lab was engaged in a Customer Care project to rebuild it from scratch using new approaches and technologies. We analyzed the existing Customer Care program, understood its good and bad sides and started creating a new Customer Care feature for mobile and web applications. We’re responsible for the end-to-end implementation, integration with existing mobile applications and full cycle or automation testing.

You’ll be the only AQA in the team and will be responsible for testing the backend, frontend, mobile services, and chatbot.

In both cases as an Automation Quality Engineer, you will be working closely with the Development Team and Project/Product Managers. Our client has millions of consumers and our product needs to be flexible and efficient to meet their needs.

The role provides a 50/50 ratio of manual and automation tests.

Java 11, IntelliJ IDEA, Postman, Git, Selenium, Selenide, Jenkins, REST Assured, Gradle, testNG, RestAssured, Allure

Responsibilities

• Writing test cases
• Manual testing: smoke, regression
• Automation of API
• Automation of a mobile app (potentially)
• Interaction with the client’s Product/Program/QA management
• Сonducting demo presentations

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in automation QA
• Knowledge of Java or Kotlin
• Upper-Intermediate English speaking level
• Fluent Ukrainian speaking level

Will be a plus

• Experience with loyalty programs
• Experience with retail or CPG space
• Experience with Customer Care systems
