Bizzabo is seeking a Billing & Collection Specialist based in Ukraine to join our global team and take a meaningful role in the day-to-day operation of the organization, and have a significant impact on our success. What you’ll be doing:

• Take an active role in our billing and collection team, co-owning the entire AR-cycle
• Process deals in our billing system, including (but not limited to): creating invoices, processing revenue recognition, handling collection, tracking AR aging, reviewing indirect taxes, etc.
• Acting as Admin and lead point-of-contact of our billing system for internal and external users
• Ensuring timely payment of pending invoices from customers, including tracking AR aging till settlement
• Improve internal processes and cooperation with other internal teams and external partners.
• Provide analytics to management while sharing your input and recommendations with respect to collection and AR-related matters.
• Work closely with internal colleagues (finance, sales, deal-desk) as well as conduct a professional relationship with our clients.
• Taking a major part in integrating a new billing system (NetSuite Revenue Module)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in the billing and collections world is a must (accounting and legal operations experience will be a plus)
• At least 1 previous role in a SaaS tech startup/company is a must
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is a must
• Tech-savvy; Proficiency in billing programs (NetSuite — Advantage), related platforms (e.g., Stripe, SalesForce), and SW (we use Slack, Excel, Flowcharts, etc.)
• Communication and interpersonal skills; customer-facing attitude
• Data entry and management attention to details
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Ability to own and lead projects/processes end-to-end
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (revenue recognition) — Advantage
• Time management and prioritization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
