Salesforce Architect

We are looking for a Salesforce Architect who will translate business needs into technical solutions that enable our business to grow successfully.

You will work with a team of experienced, collaborative, and motivated peers who collectively are responsible for ensuring the success of our go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success). Together, you and your peers on the Revenue Operations team will use Salesforce to transform our business processes by maintaining and upgrading our instance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead development of declarative and code-based solutions to business requirements; use Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other tools to develop scalable solutions that transform our Salesforce instance into a customized platform suitable for our business needs
  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency within Salesforce org and process/data infrastructure; design, propose and execute thoughtful solutions
  • Own and execute Bizzabo’s Salesforce data security strategy, including regular backups, data redundancy, and role-based access management
  • Use Salesforce API event monitoring to track system performance/security and troubleshoot errors
  • Support go-to-market team with ongoing data management requests, and ensure Salesforce is an accurate “source of truth”
  • Act as a thought-partner and advisor to our Salesforce administrator, and collaborate on Org Roadmap to build a scalable system for the future
  • Build & manage integrations into and out of Salesforce with platforms such as Gainsight, HubSpot, Zendesk, LeanData, Tray.io, Looker, and Bizzabo’s backend platform
  • Execute special projects, such as:
  • Develop SFDC<>Bizzabo backend provisioning mechanism to manage all Bizzabo users subscriptions within Salesforce
  • Design & implement a go-to-market ticketing system for the revenue operations team’s internal stakeholder request management
  • Improve existing Apex & automation framework to optimize system performance
  • Manage Salesforce documentation and end-user training materials
  • Conduct research and design solutions to optimize user experience, reduce clicks and increase the productivity of go-to-market teams

What you have:

  • 7+ years of Salesforce administration and Salesforce development experience
  • Experience building custom Salesforce integrations with external platforms and managing org-wide SFDC Data architecture
  • Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical design plans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Constant desire to build the internal products, optimize and improve them
  • You are an initiative-taking individual who gets the job done and a team player who’d much rather be part of a group than an individual contributor

Required Certifications:

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • Salesforce Application or System Architect

Will be a plus:

  • Experience working with data warehousing
  • Demonstrated success in building at least one custom application deployed to Salesforce Lightning Experience.
  • Experience working with MAP software (HubSpot or Marketo Preferred)
