We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, who wants to work with different projects: SaaS and B2B platform.
ABOUT PRODUCTS
Gepard data transformation platform is launched by Bintime software company, operating at the e-commerce market since 2005. Gepard establishes connections between multiple data channels, transforms 120+ million product descriptions per month and reduces thousands of hours of manual work for the world’s top manufacturers and retailers.
Portal team
We are a b2b platform for selling various goods (mainly office equipment) for Dutch and Belgian companies. Our product is integrated with the Gepard b2b part, which daily processes millions of products for different customers.
We are merging the functionalities of 6 different b2b portals in he current stage into one multifunctional modern Portal.
Required skills:
—AWS CDK v2 Python;
—Nice to have: Kubernetes (EKS)/Ansible/Terraform;
—Containerization: Docker;
—CI: Gitlab CI/Jenkins/Rundeck;
—Data infrastructure: Elasticsearch, MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis;
—Monitoring systems: Grafana/Zabbix/ELK;
—Messaging: RabbitMQ/SQS;
—Storage: S3;
—Scripting: Bash;
—High-level Linux Administrator;
—Experience with Amazon CloudFront is a content delivery network (CDN).
Will be a plus: Digital Ocean.
Responsibilities:
—Together with the dev team move e-commerce project to IaC approach using AWS CDK;
—Improve monitoring and find gaps in current Infra;
—Work with developers and QA to grow our product;
—Support and scale project infrastructure;
—Support the development and testing process;
—Prepare dev/acceptance/production infrastructure using Kubernetes for the new project with logging, monitoring, etc.;
—Support the existing project hosted on virtual machines provisioned with Ansible;
—Support team services (Mattermost as a team communication tool, own Gitlab instance, etc.) — monitoring, updating to the latest versions, etc.
