About the project:

The solution is a desktop application offering rich functionality for managing schemas of JSON Document-based NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs. It allows users to visually design, model, document and export data to various data formats. The application aims to serve the needs of analysts, solution designers, architects, developers, and database administrators

Stack:

Node.js/Electron, React/Redux, SCSS

Team Composition:

9 engineers, AM, 2 Architects, 1 Product Owner

Talent you’ll bring into our team:

Engineering skills:

• At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on desktop & web testing
• Solid understanding of STLC
• Strong skills in creation of Test Documentation (including Test Strategies & Test Plans)
• Excellent Test Design skills
• Proficiency in creation of well-structured Test Summary Reports
• Solid understanding of testing JSON-based applications
• Understanding of NoSQL and SQL databases, specifically MongoDB and MySQL
• Knowledge of DDL basics
• Familiarity with GIT and Docker basics
• Familiarity with JavaScript

Soft skills:

• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Proactiveness
• Knowledge sharing culture
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Would be a plus:

• Understanding of Electron apps specifics

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing with a deep understanding of the specific challenges and intricacies involved
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Provide informative test summary reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
• Maintain & Evolve QA Process according to business needs
