Qualifications required:

Ability to learn quickly
Experience in developing complex microservices based applications
Strong knowledge of JavaScript for both back-end (Node.js) and front-end applications
Ability to create scalable REST APIs(REST, JSON, CORS, Security)
TypeScript — a lot of our codebase is in TypeScript and it is increasing
Understanding of the principles of databases and knowledge of SQL
Experience with cloud services such as AWS
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Technology requirements:
Javascript/Node.js 10+ — ES6 and higher
RESTful APIs
SQL (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
AWS
Knowledge of GraphQL or a willingness to work with GraphQL — we are moving in this direction.
