— University degree (Eng., M.Eng. or PhD) in computer science or similar education
— At least three years experience in leadership and motivation of a software team.
— Knowledge in hardware related programming in C / C++ / C#.
— Experience in the exposure to different uC architectures.
— Knowledge in Embedded Linux.
— Experience in the area of fieldbus systems, CAN, Ethernet.
— Professional background with web applications, .net framework and mobile applications.
— Experience in the area of internet and information security for the applications used in IT based control and monitoring systems.
— Fluent spoken and written English is required, German skills are welcome but not mandatory
— Substantiated knowledge in software architecture and in methods and tools for effective software engineering.
— Social competence as team player with an outcome-oriented mindset.
— Willingness for occasional stays in Germany relating to job trainings and technical workshops.
— Enthusiasm and commitment for the mission.
— Business fluent appearance.

— Planning, conception and development of new software applications for the BENNNG product range. The focus is on monitoring systems and on connectivity concepts.
— Conception of software architectures supporting the design of software modules with a high degree of reusability for different products and projects.
— Establishment of new technologies in discussion with the development in Bocholt.
— Technical and organizational lead of the software team.
— Securing of the professional and timely execution of the projects in the group with use of suitable methods and tools and reporting to the head of development.
— Design of a long-term strategy for development and maintenance of state of the art monitoring software and web and cloud services.
— Medium and long term planning of the enhancements of your software group in line with the comprehensive development strategy in discussion with the head of development.
— Management of the necessary know — how in the software group to ensure a sustainable competitiveness in the defined fast changing software field.
— Coordination of projects with external providers and the university when necessary.
— Participation in the projects from the first architecture idea till the software release.
