Our client is a genomics company with a focus on interpreting genetic diseases. Their product is a next-generation genomics intelligence platform, incorporating the most advanced artificial intelligence technologies to significantly streamline the interpretation and evidence presentation process. Using it, healthcare providers can provide individualized care to more patients through higher resolution rates and significantly improved yield.

As a QA Automation & STE specialist you will ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. Testing new SW features and executing regression analysis. Drive the quality organization’s vision and strategy across the core engineering team to attain consistency in method and process

In our collaboration model, you’ll be working and communicating directly with the client’s development team.

What you’ll do in this role

• Be part of the test automation & QA team to consistently ensure quality is a key element injected into our development process.
• Develop our test automation strategy to increase automatic test coverage and support long term CI/CD roadmap
• Work closely with the development and product teams to review software requirements and specifications (SRS) to ensure testability and alignment with quality objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing.
• Manage testing status in our Issue and Project planning software, e.g.Jira.
• Work closely with the development and product teams to review software requirements and specifications (SRS) to ensure testability and alignment with quality objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior test automation engineers, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain master test plans, test cycles, and other test-related documentation.

We’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in software development or test automation, with at least 2 years of experience with pytest.
• Proven experience in testing REST APIs using frameworks (such as Fast API or Flask), with a solid understanding of JSON schemas and HTTP protocol.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, preferably MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• In-depth understanding of software testing concepts, such as SRS, master test plans, and test cycles.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and source control management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SaaS and cloud platform tools such as AWS CloudWatch.
• At least Upper-Intermediate English skills.
