We’re looking for a Technical Training Manager to join us on a short-term project and become a part of making a global impact on healthcare!

Our global healthcare client is building a new team with their current lead of a custom application development platform & AWS engineering to ensure people working on their platforms have the industry and company-specific knowledge to perform their duties efficiently and securely.

Technology is evolving at a rapid pace. Engineers need to remain up to date with the current best practices for all components of their chosen technology stacks. You can be the person who helps them with implementing the best industry practices, directly involving their professional development and helping the company reduce contractor turnover by investing in a culture of continuous learning.

What you’ll do in this role

• Collaborate with our client for 4-12 months.
• Engage with the various platform teams to solicit and help them develop their training.
• Develop cross-platform learning materials.
• Managing the rollout from planning to publishing training content for the client’s platforms; working with platform teams on training plans, resources, tracking progress, identifying, and managing risks.
• Responsible for managing any “above-platform” training requirements, such as integrations, etc.
• Developing and publishing role-based curriculums.
• Ensuring that other related initiatives, such as permissions models, resourcing, etc., feed back into training initiatives.
• Helping with other related work, such as developing skills matrices.
• Communicating progress/metrics of these initiatives to senior management.

We’re looking for

• Technical training experience, either managing large programs or having designed e-learning.
• Technically literate in AWS, PHP, Laravel, general engineering, etc.
• Rolling out curriculum, training, or DX projects or initiatives at an enterprise level.
• Managing projects that span multiple teams/cross-organizational initiatives.
• Producing training matrices, for example, mapping roles to training curriculum.
• Experience working inside a large, globally distributed enterprise.
• Experience working within a regulated environment with Pharmaceutical/life sciences is highly preferable.
• Strong written and spoken English.
