Our client is a young Swiss scale-up company dedicated to providing an interactive, AR-enabled, live-streaming solution for individuals, corporations, brands, and ad agencies. They aim to become the #1 platform in the streaming world and are now expanding their team to reach this goal.
We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated DevSecOps Engineer to become a vital part of the team. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of the cross-functional DevSecOps team, collaborating with developers, QA/Test Engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and Scrum Masters.
Your role is to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our interactive, AR-enabled live-streaming solution.

What you’ll do in this role
Secure Software Development:
- Integrate security into SDLC to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities at every stage.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and conduct code reviews.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement security checks at every CI/CD pipeline stage to detect and remediate vulnerabilities.
Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect security threats and incidents.
- Develop incident response plans and conduct post-incident analysis to improve security.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Utilize containerization technologies and orchestration tools to securely manage application deployment and scaling.
Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific security standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to maintain compliance.
Collaboration and Training:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices.
- Collaborate with our System&Solution Architect to ensure alignment with our IT architecture strategy
- Provide training and guidance to team members on security-related topics.
Security Tooling and Technologies:
- Evaluate, implement, and manage security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture of our systems.
We’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevSecOps or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including OWASP Top Ten and other industry standards.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
- Experience with the AWS platform, and associated security services.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified DevOps Engineer are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Kafka servers is a plus
- Past experience of K8S running on your infrastructure is a plus
- Knowledge of microservices and best practices is a plus
