We’re looking for a Research Analyst to help our client to improve the data for the AI tool that predicts which technologies will dominate the future.

Our client is a cool Netherlands-based predictive analytics company that helps R&D leaders predict the technological future through the use of its SaaS platform. By using these tools, one can anticipate disruption and make strategic investments in emerging technologies. A crucial part of their operation is gathering empirical technological improvement and cost data to train predictive models with.

We are looking for someone to take charge of this data-gathering effort and to become a part of a cool international team that is passionate about AI. It’s an amazing opportunity for a tech-driven person to become a part of the top-notch world’s technology trend.

What you’ll do in this role

• Conduct research on technologies and determine KPI’s that allow for the tracking of technology performance and cost over time.
• Collect and organize empirical data on technology performance and costs.
• Develop technology KPI improvement curves that show how technologies improved and perform basic statistical tests to determine the quality of your data.
• Once complete, you will communicate your findings to the rest of the team and maintain a database of KPI improvement curves.

We’re looking for

• Good understanding of data analysis and statistics as well as an analytical mindset.
• Passion for working with data and an interest in emerging technologies and global trends.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Familiarity with Google Suite (Google Workspace) and/or Microsoft Office.
• Technical background and/or a degree in an engineering field, with completed courses in statistics.
• An ability to concentrate on the process and remain focused, result-orientedness and responsibility.
• Experience in working effectively in teams.
• Proactiveness and openness to share ideas on improving the processes, approaches, team cooperation and tools.
• Ability to quickly learn.
• Excellent communication skills, with a clear and concise command of English.

How to knock our socks off

• Experience in working in a multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with Jira and/or Trello.
• Naming five or more dishes that include beetroot, besides borsch.
