We’re partnering with a genomics company with a focus on interpreting genetic diseases. Their product is a next-generation, genomics intelligence platform that incorporates the most advanced artificial intelligence technologies to streamline the interpretation and evidence presentation process. By using this tool, healthcare providers can offer individualized care to more patients.

In our collaboration model, you will work and communicate directly with the development team on the client side.

What you’ll do in this role

• Be a part of the test automation & QA team to consistently ensure quality is a key element injected into our development process

• Develop test automation strategy to increase automatic test coverage and support long term CI/CD roadmap

• Work closely with the development and product teams to review software requirements and specifications (SRS) to ensure testability and alignment with quality objectives

• Manage testing status in our Issue and Project planning software, e.g.Jira

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior test automation engineers, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development or test automation, with at least 4 years of experience with Pytest
• Proven experience in testing REST APIs using frameworks (such as FastAPI or Flask), with a solid understanding of JSON schemas and HTTP protocol
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, preferably MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
• In-depth understanding of software testing concepts, such as SRS, master test plans, and test cycles
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and source control management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment

How to knock our socks off

• Familiarity with SaaS and cloud platform tools such as AWS cloudwatch
• Working experience with CI/CD
• Familiarity with Jenkins
