We are looking for a strong and ambitious DevOps Engineer to build the Delivery process of your dream with our Beetroot family and our Solutions unit. It means we need you to help us architect, build and improve the delivery environment.
Your team is responsible for establishing a technological culture that uses and creates cutting-edge tools that enable the development, testing, and releasing of our product’s software to happen rapidly, reliably, and according to the highest standards. It also focuses on developer effectiveness, creativity and experience.
You will be working directly with our CTO, Tech Leaders and Delivery Teams.
Responsibilities:
Setup and improve the company-wide SDLC infrastructure:
— Define the infrastructure of your dreams, adapt it for our business needs to and scale it across the company
— Create and manage a roadmap of continuous improvement of company’s SDLC
— Integrate, maintain, and optimize tools for the software delivery lifecycle and of itself with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as code, container orchestration, artifact managers, monitoring and more.
— Oversee, analyze, and troubleshoot issues in large scale, dynamic and complex environments
Work closely with a team:
— Mentor and support developers
— Optionally, conduct trainings on the most actual topics
— Collaborate with IT Team as physical assets owners and Tier-1 support
Suggest improvements for new and existing accounts:
— Participate in presale process, influencing the proposal to new clients
— Work closely with Architects and Tech Leaders to increase the value our company provides for our clients
What we’re looking for:
— At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps/Infra engineer
— Experience with one of the following programming and scripting languages: Bash, Python, NodeJS, Go or equivalent language
— Proven hands-on experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines, working with relevant tools and methodologies (SCM / CI systems / Artifacts repository managers / Deployment tools)
— Proven and vast experience with design, build and manage infrastructure on AWS or Azure. Experience with other cloud platforms would be a plus
— Extensive knowledge in writing, running, and deploying Docker images
— Hands-on experience with building and managing Kubernetes clusters
— Proficiency with networks: DNS, TCP/IP, firewall, load balancing etc.
— Hands-on experience writing and managing automated Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, ARM or Pulumi
— Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch and other popular databases, including their cloud implementations
— Up to date on the latest industry trends and aware of DevOps and Agile principles
— At least Intermediate English level and strong communication skills
— Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence
